Who is eligible?

This scholarship is open to international applicants seeking to pursue
a full-time Nanyang Fellows MBA programme at NTU.
Eligibility criteria

* Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are not eligible
to apply
* At least 8 years of post-graduation experience including 5 years
of managerial experience
* Possess excellent undergraduate degrees
* Have demonstrated leadership qualities and potential in his/her
organisation and/or community service
* A good score in TOEFL or IELTS is required for applicants from
non-English speaking university
* Applicants must be nominated by the head of
company/organisatio n/ministry in which the applicant is serving
* You should not be on paid employment or accept paid employment
or concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary or
top-up allowance during the prescribed period of the award

Bond

There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Coverage

Each scholarship is tenable for a period of 1 year only.

Each scholarship shall cover the following:

* Full or partial tuition fees in NTU and MIT and the overseas
business study mission
* A monthly stipend of S$1200 and lodging with return airfare to
MIT may also be awarded to outstanding candidates from the civil service

Kementrian Pendidikan SIngapura dengan ini menawarkan beasiswa ASEAN bagi para pelajar berprestasi untuk melanjutkan pendidikan pada tingkat SMP dan SMA di Singapura, yang akan berakhir dengan ujian General Certification of Education (Advanced) Level (atau setara) Examination.

Mereka yang berhasil menempuh ujian GCE “A” Level Examination dengan sukses dapat melanjutkan pendidikan tingkat sarjana di National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) ataupun Singapore Mangement University (SMU) melalui program beasiswa yang diberikan oleh universitas yang bersangkutan.

- Biaya hidup per-tahun sebesar S$2,200 (kira-kira Rp. 15,025,000

SIAPA YANG DAPAT MENDAFTAR

Pelajar yang memenuhi syarat-syarat berikut ini dapat mendaftar untuk beasiswa pada SMP kelas III di Singapura.

- Warga Negara Indonesia
- Lahir antara tahun 1992 dan 1994
- Telah menempuh Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) 2008 SMP 3

PROSEDUR PEMILIHAN

Hanya kandidat yang memenuhi syarat-syarat di atas yang akan dipanggil untuk mengikuti ujian pemilihan yang menyangkut Kemampuan Umum, Bahsa Inggris dan Matematika di Jakarta, Medan dan Surabaya pada bulan Agustus. Kandidat yang lulus ujian pemilihan selanjutnya akan dipanggil untuk mengikuti wawancara pada bulan September. Kandidat yang berhasil akan tiba di Singapura pada bulan November untuk mengikuti kursus singkat penyesuaian diri dalam bahasa Inggris sebelum memasuki sekolah Singapura pada bulan Januari 2009.

seeks a PhD Student (60%) interested in writing his/her PhD thesis in
the context of a project on water management in the Zambezi river basin.

Research area: Your PhD research will be part of a large
interdisciplinary project that studies integrated water resources
management in the Zambezi river basin

issues of multi-level governance from a political science and economics
viewpoint.

Your background: We are looking for a candidate who holds an MA/MSc in
political science and/or economics. Ideally, applicants should have
strong methodological skills in quantitative and qualitative data
collection and analysis, a keen interest in questions of political
economy, good knowledge of political science, economic and political
economy theories, and a strong command of English. Willingness and
ability to spend several months in southern Africa to collect data and
interact with local project partners is essential.

What we offer: We offer the successful candidate an intellectually
challenging position in one of the leading political science research
centers in Europe, an exciting opportunity to engage in field research
in southern Africa, and the prospects of obtaining a PhD degree from ETH

Beasiswa Universitas Indonesia untuk Seribu Anak Bangsa

Dengan datangnya tahun ajaran baru 2008/2009 Universitas Indonesia menyambut semua Anak-anak Bangsa Calon Pemimpin Masa Depan untuk menjalani proses pendidikan di Universitas Indonesia. Universitas Indonesia berkomitmen proses pendidikan yang diselenggarakan berkualitas
sebaik mungkin untuk mengejar ketertinggalan bangsa kita tercinta. Untuk itulah misi Ui adalah:

1. Menyelenggarakan Pendidikan Tinggi berbasis riset untuk pengembangan Ilmu Teknologi, Seni dan Budaya; dan

Beasiswa hanya berlaku setelah calon mahasiswa dinyatakan diterima di UI melalui dua jalur tersebut dan mendaftar sebagai mahasiswa UI pada tahun ajaran 2008/2009. Mendapatkan surat rekomendasi memperoleh beasiswa Universitas Indonesia untuk Seribu Anak Bangsa bukan merupakan jaminan calon mahasiswa tersebut diterima di UI.
