Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship

The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is a competitive
and prestigious scholarship scheme designed to encourage outstanding
graduates or final-year students to take their first step towards a
leading research career by studying for a PhD at NTU.

Who is eligible?

There is no restriction as to the nationality of candidates but, all
things being equal preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and
Singapore Permanent Residents.

Eligibility criteria

* You must have a First Class Honours degree or equivalent at
Bachelor’s level
* If you have not yet completed your undergraduate degree
programme, you will need to furnish documentation from your university
that you are on track to get a First Class Honours degree or equivalent

Bond

There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Coverage and award terms

* Full tuition fees
* Monthly stipend of $3200
* Conference allowance for two major overseas conferences in the
4-year period
* One-time IT allowance of $1500
* Annual grant of $500 for journal subscription or book purchase
* Thesis preparation allowance
* Priority will be given for subsidised campus accomodation

Nanyang Fellows Scholarship

Who is eligible?

This scholarship is open to international applicants seeking to pursue
a full-time Nanyang Fellows MBA programme at NTU.
Eligibility criteria

* Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are not eligible
to apply
* At least 8 years of post-graduation experience including 5 years
of managerial experience
* Possess excellent undergraduate degrees
* Have demonstrated leadership qualities and potential in his/her
organisation and/or community service
* A good score in TOEFL or IELTS is required for applicants from
non-English speaking university
* Applicants must be nominated by the head of
company/organisatio n/ministry in which the applicant is serving
* You should not be on paid employment or accept paid employment
or concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary or
top-up allowance during the prescribed period of the award

Bond

There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Coverage

Each scholarship is tenable for a period of 1 year only.

Each scholarship shall cover the following:

* Full or partial tuition fees in NTU and MIT and the overseas
business study mission
* A monthly stipend of S$1200 and lodging with return airfare to
MIT may also be awarded to outstanding candidates from the civil service

NTU-MBA Scholarship

Who is eligible?

You are eligible for this scholarship if you are an international
student seeking admission to pursue a full-time MBA programme at NTU.
Eligibility criteria

* Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are not eligible
to apply
* Selection is based on the your scholastic achievements as well
as financial circumstances and other relevant factors
* You should not be on paid employment or accept paid employment
or concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship, bursary or
top-up allowance during the prescribed period of the award

Coverage

Coverage of tuition fees for up to 4 trimesters.
Bond

There is no bond attached to the scholarship.
Application procedure

You can apply for this scholarship when you are filling in your
application form.

* Application forms may be obtained from the MBA Office when
applications for the MBA programme open in October each year.
* Application for the scholarship should be submitted to the MBA
Office together with the application for admission to the MBA programme.

PENGUMUMAN

Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam menyediakan bantuan biaya pendidikan untuk masyarakat aceh yang sedang dalam program S-1, S-2 dan S-3 baik di dalam dan luar Aceh maupun di luar negeri, dengan syarat-syarat sebagai berikut :

1. Membuat permohonan secara perorangan kepada Gubernur Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam c/q komisi beasiswa Aceh pukul 08.00 s/d 12.00 WIB d/a Biro Keistimewaan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat Setda Provinsi NAD Jln. T. Nyak Arief
No. 219 Banda Aceh, dengan melampirkan dokumen sebagai berikut :

a. Foto Copy Kartu Mahasiswa

b. Foto Copy Kartu Tanda Penduduk Warga Aceh

c. Foto Copy Kartu Keluarga Warga Aceh

d. Surat Keterangan masih aktif kuliah tahun 2008 dari pimpinan Fakultas (ASLI)

e. Transkrip nilai Tahun Akademik 2007/2008 (ASLI), kecuali Dokter Spesialis. Kalau ada universitas tertentu yang tidak mengeluarkan Transkrip NIlai, supaya ada keterangan dari universitas tersebut atau laporan Akademiknya di sahkan oleh penasehat Akademik.

f. Fotocopy bukti pembayaran SPP semester terakhir (dilegalisir Universitas)

g. Fotocopy buku rekening Bank atas nama sendiri dan masih aktif serta online pada salah satu bank dibawah ini

h. Khusus Rekening Bank Luar Negeri harus dilengkapi dengan Swiff Code Bank

1. Usia untuk mahasiswa S-1 maksimal 25 tahun, S-2 maksimal 40 tahun, dan S-3 maksimal 45 tahun
2. IPK untuk mahasiswa S-1 minimal 3.00, S-2 minimal 3.10, dan S-3 minimal 3.10
3. Bantuan biaya pendidikan ini tidak diberikan kepada :

a. Mereka yang telah menerima bantuan serupa dari Pemda NAD selama tiga kali (S-1 sejak 2004), (S-2 sejak 2005) dan (S-3 sejak 2005)

b. Mereka dengan status tugas belajar yang telah mendapatkan bantuan dari Badan Kepegawaian, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Prov. NAD dan PTN di Aceh yang dananya bersumber dari APBA

1. Khusus mahasiswa S-1 dalam daerah Prov. NAD baik PTN maupun PTS IPK minimal 3.50 dan tidak menerima bantuan dari perguruan tinggi masing-masing dan dibuktikan denga surat keterangan dari Universitas/ Perguruan Tinggi tersebut yang disahkan oleh Dekan Fakultas/ Ketua Akademik masing-masing Fakultas

1. Masa penerimaan permohonan dimulai sejak pengumuman ini dikeluarkan dan ditutup tanggal 15 Agustus 2008. Khusus permohonan yang dikirim melalui pos dapat diterima sampai tanggal 15 Agustus 2008 (stempel pos)

1. Permohonan yang tidak lengkap dan yang diterima setelah masa pengumuman ini tidak akan di proses, serta berkas menjadi dokumen komisi

Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Excellent Students Program

In order to provide foreign students with more equal opportunities, the applying method for the 『Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Excellent Students Program』 will be the same as the application process for foreign students and it will be available online at http://admission.snu.ac.kr.

This change will take place starting from the first semester in 2009. While the Office of International Affairs will deal with the overall program, the office in charge of registration will be the office of admissions.

For those who are interested in the 『Graduate Scholarship for Foreign Excellent Students Program』 apply online by 18:00(Thursday) July 31st 2008 and send the original documents to the office of admissions by 18:00(Friday) August 1st 2008.

We plan to place a notice about the eligible countries and universities, the number of students per major and information on financial support online by early July 2008. The online applicants will be filtered and categorized by their university of graduation. The final decision will be made by the screening committee.
